In the latest Karriere commercial Chocolate Tribe brought to life Spark, Aura, and Flex – three distinct characters that symbolise various functions in a contemporary workplace.

Flex is the multitasking pro, Aura is the eager intern, and Spark is the self-assured innovator. To create visually engaging characters that nonetheless seemed realistic, the characters underwent a rigorous development process, starting with concept design.

Chocolate Tribe’s 3D and concept team worked closely together to design, model, sculpt, texture, rig, style and shade the characters. The fur especially was a crucial component of the finished appearance, and its grooming was developed concurrently with the character models. To provide a non-destructive workflow that permitted flexibility throughout production, we used Yeti (for grooming) and Maya in conjunction with Arnold software for rendering. For the live-action plates, striking a delicate balance between stylised characters and photorealistic integration was essential.
